Magnus III "BARRELEGS" viking king of norway, ruled the islands of scotland in the late 11th century. Adopted the highland tradition of the kilt, hence his nickname ! His successors were the celtic lord of the isles, who ruled their domain from their base on islay.

Like magnus barrelegs and our forefathers before us, we are born adventurers and have travelled the four corners of the globe. From New York and Paris to the spice fields of zanzibar.

We have taken our experiences and blended them with the tradition of home, creating whiskies that we enjoy drinking together with friends and family.
