Its name is inspired by the 135° East meridian that runs through the municipality of Akashi, in the prefecture of Hyogo, Japan. This is because it is there, in the stills of the young KaiKyo distillery inaugurated in 2017, that this gin is elaborated. The local aromatic ingredients (shiso leaves, sabsho pepper, yuzu, Japanese plum, sencha tea) are distilled separately under vacuum before being blended with juniper berries and classic << botanicals >> in this electrified fagrance of citrus and spices laid on a lovely woody finish. And create the perfect harmony and balance in this meeting of East and West.
